One person was killed and three others were wounded overnight Saturday in a head-on collision between two cars on Route 40, near Migdal Ha'emek. According to an initial investigation, Ahmed Nassim's car swerved into the opposite lane and crashed into an approaching vehicle. Nassim, 43, who police believe may have been intoxicated at the time, was mortally injured in the crash and died shortly afterward. Three other passengers were injured and taken to the Assaf Harofe Medical Center for treatment.
