One adult and one child were killed within the hour Sunday afternoon during separate car accidents in Jerusalem and Highway 65. The first incident involved an eight-year-old boy who was killed after being hit by a bus while riding his bicycle on Samuel Hanavi St. in the nation's capital. The incident occurred at approximately 2:20 pm. The second incident occurred less than an hour later when a 40-year-old man was killed after his vehicle struck a truck in a head-on collision on Highway 65 located in the North. A 7-year-old boy was also injured in the incident and was evacuated to a nearby hospital in critical condition.
