The Palestinian Authority leadership in the West Bank Tuesday condemned a visit to the Gaza Strip by Malaysian Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak.

Razak arrived in the Gaza Strip Tuesday on a one-day visit during which he held talks with Hamas leaders.

The PA said that Razak's visit does not serve the interests of the Palestinians and "solidifies Palestinian divisions." It also said that the visit harmed the status of the PA as the legitimate leadership of the Palestinians.
