Palestinian Authority police officers on Tuesday afternoon arrested two Israeli civilians who entered Ramallah by mistake. The women were transferred to the Civil Administration. An initial investigation found that the women, aged 27 and 33, had entered the West Bank via the Kalandia crossing, and were heading for the settlement of Itamar. They were driving through the Ramallah area of Bir Zeit when a Palestinian civilian spotted them and notified the PA police.
