The Palestinian Liberation Organization will continue to stand by the right of Palestinian refugees and their descendants' to return to their pre-'48 homes, PLO Executive Committee Secretary Yasser Abed Rabbo announced on Saturday.

Rabbo's remarks came on the 62nd anniversary of the passing of UN Resolution 194 calling for the return of Arab residents displaced by Israel's War of Independence to their homes .

"This [UN] decision forms the basis of Palestinian rights," said Rabbo. He added, "The return of the refugees to their homes remain the top on the list of priorities of the Palestinian leadership and the free world."
