The much-awaited list, which the magazine publishes on a yearly basis, has been released on Wednesday. PM Netanyahu moved up on spot on the list, in which he ranked at number 21 in 2015.

The world's most powerful person of the year according to Forbes is President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin. The Russian president beat President-elect Donald Trump to the first spot, with the latter ranking at number 2.
