Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu convened the Security Cabinet on Wednesday morning to discuss the Iranian threat ahead of US President Barack Obama's decision on the matter, Israel Radio reported. Obama is set to make a decision concerning sanctions against Teheran at the start of 2010. According to the report, the cabinet's meeting also centered on recent progress made in efforts to secure the release of captured IDF soldier St.-Sgt. Gilad Schalit.
