Direct talks between Israel and the Palestinians with no conditions may occur in the coming weeks said Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu during his visit to Greece Monday, Israel Radio reported.

Speaking at a press conference with Prime Minister George Papandreou, Netanyahu explained that Israeli representatives are ready to head to Cairo or Washington to join in direct talks.

Papandreou said that he and Netanyahu agreed on the establishment of a joint committee which will handle communication between the Israelis and Palestinians through strategic channels.
