PM to recommend appointment of new Likud director-general

Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu was set to recommend to the Likud secretariat Thursday the appointment of Yossi Shelly as director-general of Likud.

Shelly most recently served as director-general of the Israel Postal Authority and director-general of the Beersheba City Council, he currently serves as the director-general of several private companies and as a member of the Beersheba City Council. Outgoing Likud Director-General Gadi Arielli was due to leave his post after seven years in the position.
