Palestinian Islamic Jihad [PIJ] reported that “in the next few hours there will be important diplomatic developments,” Ynet reported. It also claimed to have “responded to the Israeli crime and shatter the illusions of [Prime Minister Benjamin] Netanyahu.” The PIJ fired roughly 300 rockets on Israel since Tuesday morning when IDF forces eliminated its leader Bahaa Abu al-Ata.
