A Palestinian gunman opened fire on two Israeli vehicles traveling on Route 465, near Halmish in the West Bank overnight between Monday and Tuesday.

There were no injuries in the shooting, the IDF said, but one of the vehicles sustained damage. "A civilian who was in the area fired at the terrorist. We are not aware of anyone being hit by gunfire," the army added.

IDF units launched a search of the area.

On Monday, the IDF reported that an Israeli bus in the Hawara area was struck by ball bearings. There were no injuries in that incident.
