Palestinian gunmen fired on the Gush Etzion community of Migdal Oz, south of Bethlehem early on Friday. IDF units scanned the area for the attackers. The incident comes two days after a gunman in Ramallah opened fire on the nearby West Bank settlement of Psagot, striking an Israeli home. There were no injuries in that attack, the military added.

In a separate incident that occurred overnight on Friday, a Palestinian man hurled an improvised explosive at a military position north of Ramallah. There were no injuries in the attack.

Meanwhile, IDF units arrested three wanted security suspects in the West Bank early Friday, nabbing the wanted men in the Palestinian village of Azun, east of Qalqilya.
