In an operation carried out by the border police early Sunday morning, 102 Palestinians who illegally infiltrated into Israel were detected
by the Meitar crossing, "but the entry routes may also be used by terror and criminal organizations,"
it was reported in Maariv.

In an activity that included observation and ambushes, the forces noticed dozens of Palestinians crossing into Israel. When the signal was given, the soldiers exposed their activities which led to the arrest of the 102 suspects, residents of the Hebron area.

Some of them were later returned to the territories and some were detained for further investigation.
