Gazan indicted on security charges, including attempted murder of soldiers

A Palestinian resident of Gaza and a militant in Fatah's Al-Aqsa Martyr's Brigades was indicted on numerous security related charges in the Beersheba District Court on Friday, Israel Radio reported.
Wael Abu Rida, among other charges, was indicted for weapons and attempted murder.
According to the indictment, the suspect shot at IDF tanks with the purpose of killing soldiers and attempted to plant an explosive devise at the separation fence between Gaza and Israel. He is also accused of training terrorists.
Abu Rida's arrest, one month ago, was subject to a publication ban that was lifted last week, according to the report.
