A young Palestinian man attacked a Jewish group with tear gas, near the Damascus Gate in Jerusalem's Old City according to a report by Army Radio on Wednesday.

The incident added to the already high tensions in the country's capitol as Jerusalem celebrates its 47th Jerusalem Day.

Earlier in the day, rioters threatened Jewish visitors to the Temple Mount and one Arab youth was seriously injured by security forces in the incident.
