Palestinian wire service Ma'an says reason reason cease-fire agreement is faltering is due to dozens of prisoners from the Gilad Shalit deal, who have been arrested by Israel in the West Bank.

According to the report, the director of the Palestinian intelligence service has asked US Secretary of State Kerry to "formally secure" the release of those prisoners; and also, the release of the fourth and final release of Palestinian prisoners which Israel cancelled.
