Minister-without-Portfolio Yossi Peled will host Knesset Speaker Reuven Rivlin and four other MKs on Tuesday in the first of several Likud toasts ahead of Rosh Hashana. Next week, Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu, Vice Premier Silvan Shalom, and a group of Likud hawks will host events. Peled's associates stressed that his event was not a rally against Netanyahu or his policies. They said the event would focus on consensus issues in the Likud, like strengthening Jerusalem and the Golan Heights.
