Peres appears at high-tech exhibition to brief Obama

President Shimon Peres on Thursday morning arrived at the high-tech exhibition put on specially for US President Barack Obama to brief him on Maantech, a joint initiative which aims to boost the recruitment of Arab candidates to Israel's leading high tech companies.

Before Obama left the exhibit, he turned to tell Peres that he would see him later in the evening, to which his counter-part responded humorously: "Don't eat too much in Ramallah!" referring to his visit later on Thursday with PA President Mahmoud Abbas.
