Peres at Kiryat Shmona anniversary: This town is a symbol of resilience

President Shimon Peres attended the 60th anniversary of the northern town of Kiryat Shmona on Thursday evening. "Kiryat Shmona is not just a city in Israel," the president said. Peres described the city which was on the front line in the Second Lebanon War as "a symbol of resilience and heroism - and of the success of standing strong against all odds."
