Peres to hold Ramadan break-fast at President's Residence

President Shimon Peres was slated to hold an iftar meal at the President's Residence to break the Ramadan fast on Sunday during the holiest month in the Islamic calendar.

Hundreds of Arab society representatives were expected to attend the event, including senior imams from Israel, Qadis (Sharia court judges), ambassadors, mayors and councils, youth volunteers from civil service and social activists.
