The plane that was reportedly making an emergency landing at Ben-Gurion International Airport landed safely, Israeli media reported Monday.

The Wizz Air flight, carrying 178 passengers, was bound for Riga, Latvia when it had to return to Israel due to engine failure.

Israeli media had reported around 12 p.m. local time it was supposed to make an emergency landing after engine failure. Ambulances, paramedics and emergency medical personnel were set to meet the plane, according to a statement released by Magen David Adom.
