The police have summoned three activists of the left-wing Yesh Gvul movement on suspicion of supporting the evasion of military service, movement spokesman Yoav Hass charged over the weekend.
"The aim of the police and the political elements that give them their orders is to intimidate and deter the activists, but they will not succeed in doing so," Hass said.
He pointed out that the members of Yesh Gvul were soldiers who served for many years in the regular army and the reserves.
The movement's aim is to prevent soldiers from committing war crimes, he added.
