Police on Thursday appealed to the public for help in a search for a Rosh Ha’ayin resident who left her house half a year ago and has kept in touch with her family through Facebook and emails.

The family fear that Yael Shavo's actions are being influenced by a cult leader, according to Israel Radio.

Yael is described as thin with black shoulder-length hair and brown eyes. She is 1.5 meters tall. Police requested anyone who knew about her where-about to contact them.
