Tel Aviv District Police detectives supported by YASSAM and Border Police officers arrested 18 men on drug and property crime charges during an early morning raid in Jaffa on Tuesday.

Police said the arrests came after a police informant spent eight months infiltrating the group of Jaffa criminals, eventually earning their trust and buying stolen property and cocaine and heroin from them.

The men will be brought to the Tel Aviv Magistrate's Court Tuesday morning.
