Police arrest 2 youths suspected of planning to sell expired eggs

Police arrested two Jerusalem youths on Wednesday on suspicion of planning to distribute tens of thousands of eggs that were greatly past their expiration dates, Israel Radio reported.

According to police, the suspects had stolen the eggs and had altered the printed dates on the cartons, which encapsulated eggs that were three-years-old. The eggs were destroyed and police were searching for any additional related activity.
