Police arrest Bat Yam man for breaking into synagogue, stealing money

Police on Monday afternoon arrested a 22-year-old resident of Bat Yam for allegedly breaking into a local synagogue and stealing charity money.

The stolen objects and money were returned to the synagogue, Israel Radio reported.The suspect will be brought to Tel Aviv Magistrate's Court, where police will seek an extension of his remand.
