Police arrested 27 Kfar Manda residents following a massive riot on Saturday morning, police spokesperson said.

The police also found 21 boxes of firework launchers, 25 ready-to-use fire bombs and plastic buckets filled with stones. All of which were used to attack the police during the riot. Eleven suspects will be taken to court in Acre on Sunday morning to extend their detention.

Saturday riot was suspected to have happened due to tensions following local elections in the Arab-Israeli town.
