Police at Beit Shemesh school after haredi disturbance

Police were called Thursday afternoon to the new national religious girls school in Beit Shemesh that has been the site of fierce protests by haredim since its opening on September 1.
Dozens of haredim arrived at the school while the girls were being dismissed from school in order to harass the students. Police arrested one demonstrator for disturbing the peace.
The school has been slammed by haredi residents of the neighborhood who are opposed to the school operating in the area.
