Police officers escorted some 40 Palestinian activists on Tuesday out of Bab Alshams, a small tent city constructed over the weekend in the E1 area east of Jerusalem, from which they were evicted late Saturday night.Eight activists' cars were also ticketed, police say. No injuries have been reported.
