After hours of searches, scuba divers and police volunteers on Sunday evening drew the body of a 17-year-old boy from the waters of the 'disappearing lake' in the Jordan Valley, near Menahemia. Bilal Tarek Shibli, from the village of Shibli near Afula, drowned after jumping into the lake from a high ledge, together with two of his relatives. Police suspect he hit his head during the dive.
