Police release pupils following arrest for animal abuse

Three pupils from a school in the central Sharon region were arrested on suspicion of abusing a cat and causing its death, Israel Radio reported Sunday.

One of the pupils was released with restrictive conditions while the other two were released on house arrest.

According to pupils, incentive for the act was established after the cat scratched them.
