Police seized 43 kilograms of heroin and 20 kilograms cocaine that was smuggled from Jordan to the Arava region of southern Israel Wednesday.

Officers arrested three suspects, all Beduin residents of the Ramat Hanegev region. Police said they would bring the three to court for a remand extension hearing Wednesday morning.
