Police seize guns in Negev town of Rahat

Border Police and officers from the Rahat police station raided several homes in the Beduin town of Rahat in the Negev on Monday, scene to several lethal gun battles between residents, and seized three firearms. 


The guns included a Czech rifle, a pistol, and an Uzi. Several suspects were detained on suspicion of illegal firearms possession. 


Police said further raids against illicit weapons would continue in the coming days.
