Police seize large hashish amount in raid on Beduin village

Acting on an intelligence tip, police in the south raided a home in a Beduin village and seized 22 kilograms of hashish with a street value of hundreds of thousands of shekels on Monday.

The drugs were divided up into 220 large portions, police said.

The search was carried out with Border Police and a sniffer dog. A suspect was arrested during the raid.
