Police, tax authority question ex-Hapoel Petah Tikva heads

Police and tax authority investigators detained for questioning four former officials from the management of the Hapoel Petah Tikvah football club on Monday morning, on suspicion of committing a series of financial irregularities that contributed to the struggling team's economic hardships.
The investigations on Monday morning are a new development in a case police opened against the managers in May 2011, which dealt with suspicions that Hapoel Petach Tikva FC managers had been involved in match-fixing.
