Police on Thursday night decided to reinforce patrols in the Old City of Jerusalem in preparation for Friday prayers after a general security assessment determined that there is a strong possibility of disturbances. National police spokesman Micky Rosenfeld said the preparations include banning men between the ages of 18-55 from entering the Temple Mount complex. Public Security Minister Yitzhak Aharonovitch will be in the Old City to observe the police preparations.
