Israeli agent Jonathan Pollard is due to serve the 9500th day of his life sentence at Butner Prison in North Carolina on Friday, the Free Pollard campaign said Thursday.

The campaign decided to mark any milestone numbers for Pollard in prison after the tactic worked successfully for Israeli soldier Gilad Schalit.

US Vice President Joe Biden met with American Jewish leaders on Monday, which was the 26th anniversary of his arrest.
