Prison Service requests that Ronnie Ron be kept in custody

The Prison Service on Tuesday requested that Ronnie Ron, grandfather and alleged murderer of Rose Pizam, be kept in solitary confinement due to the fear that other prisoners would seek to harm him if he was held in a regular cell and that suspicion that he would harm himself or seek to flee if released to house arrest.
Ron's criminal case is still being examined by Petah Tikva District Court.
