Prisoner hangs himself in Tel Aviv jail

A 32-year-old man hung himself in a cell at Tel Aviv's Abu Kabir jail, the Prison Service announced Saturday night. Guards found the prisoner, who was arrested on suspicion of domestic violence, in the shower inside his cell hanging from a torn bed sheet.

Upon discovering the man, guards called Magen David Adom paramedics who declared im dead. An investigation was opened into the death.
