Prisoner hangs himself in cell 5 years into sentence

A prisoner in southern Israel's Eshel Prison hung himself in his cell on Saturday.

The prisoner, around 30 years old, was serving an 11-year sentence for aggravated robbery, according to Israel Radio.  He was five years into his sentence at the time of the incident.
