Professor and renown journalist Zeev Segal dies at 63

Renown journalist and Haaretz legal analyst Zeev Segal passed away at age 63 on Tuesday night.

Segal was one of the authors of the Kinneret Covenant signed in 2001 that aimed to create a common ground between different groups in Israeli society.

The journalist, who was also a professor in the faculty of law at Tel Aviv University, published several books including, "Freedom of the press between myth and reality."
