A projectile fired from the Gaza Strip struck Israel Monday night in the Sha'ar Hanegev Regional Council, multiple media reports said.
The rocket landed in the regional council, near the Gaza border, but did not cause damage.
No rocket sirens were activated in the region.
Earlier, Hamas's Ministry of Health said five Palestinians were injured in riots along the border.
This is a developing story.
