At the United Nations in New York on Monday afternoon, Ambassador Ron Prosor told reporters that "ignoring incitement and terrorism is similar to supporting terrorism," and accused the UN of doing just that.

"Every day, every single day, Israelis are coming under attack," Prosor said. Every day the crowds of violent Palestinian rioters grow louder. Yet this institution has not uttered one word to denounce the attacks against Israelis."

Prosor was also highly critical of the European delegations, sarcastically declaring, "Yes, continue to co-sponsor one-sided resolutions, encourage unilateral actions, and prematurely recognize a Palestinian state. This has clearly been a resounding success that has brought us closer to peace."

Prosor recently sent a letter to the Security Council and the Secretary General regarding the attacks on 5 November, criticizing the Council for "remaining silent" after numerous attacks on Israelis.
