Israeli Ambassador to the United Nations Ron Prosor congratulated Likud Minister Danny Danon on his appointment to replace him as the Jewish State's envoy to the world body on Friday.

"It is a complicated and meaningful arena, which will bring many more challenges to the State of Israel," Prosor said.

"I wish Danon many achievements on the frontlines. His success in his new role, is a success for us all," he added.
