Russian President Vladimir Putin and German Vice Chancellor Sigmar Gabriel discussed on Wednesday mutual cooperation and Syrian crisis during a meeting in the presidential residence near Moscow.
Among the topics addresses were Europe's migrant crisis.
More than 680,000 migrants have crossed to Europe by sea so far this year, fleeing war and poverty in the Middle East, Africa and Asia, according to the International Organization for Migration.
