Raed Salah acquitted in rioting case

Sheikh Raed Salah, head of the Islamic Movement's northern branch, was acquitted Tuesday by the Jerusalem magistrates court in a case of rioting in the Old City of Jerusalem which occured in 2007.
Salah said that be believed his acquittal to be the obvious outcome of his trial. "The trial described the truth. The police should be blamed, and if true justice is sought, all the four remaining cases against me should be closed."
