Remand of suspects in Netanya gas blast extended by 5 days

The remand of two people suspected to be involved in the Netanya gas exposion Thursday overnight was extended by five days on Friday.

The judge decided that one of the men, who allegedly stole metal cables from the building, and who is also suspected of manslaughter, poses a real danger.

On the gas technician who was called to the scene to repair the cables, who is also suspected of manslaughter and causing death by negligence, the judge determined that his remand will be extended over concern of obstruction of justice.
