Report: 3 Detroit police officers shot at precinct

DETROIT — A gunman opened fire inside a Detroit police precinct on Sunday, shooting at least three officers including a commander, a police official said.
Sgt. Todd Eby told the Detroit Free Press that he was sitting at his desk at the precinct when the gunman walked in Sunday afternoon with a pistol grip shotgun and opened fire. He said officers shot back at the gunman, killing him.
The conditions of the officers were not immediately known. Media reported that they were taken to Sinai Grace hospital in Detroit, but attempts to reach the hospital on Sunday were not immediately successful.
Police spokeswoman Sgt. Eren Stephens told The Associated Press that she didn't immediately have any information on the shooting.
No other details were immediately available. A news conference was expected Sunday night.
