Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas has agreed to work with the United States on a plan to rebuild the Gaza Strip, Israel's Army Radio reported Thursday.

After publicly and harshly criticizing the still to be unveiled American plan, Abbas has removed his opposition to providing economic aid to the Palestinian coastal enclave as part of the proposal, according to the report.
