Report: Israeli attack on Syria kills dozens of troops

The Israeli airstrike Sunday in Syria struck several critical military facilities near Damascus killing dozens of elite troops a high-ranking Syrian military official said in an interview, The New York Times reported on Monday.Israel has not commented on the Sunday airstrike, that it allegedly carried out according to foreign media reports.In its report, the Times cites a doctor at the military’s Tishreen Hospital who said that there were at least 100 dead soldiers and many dozens more wounded at the hospital on Monday.
